statutory services

Aspired Futures is a Blackpool based charitable organisation providing long-term, life-changing therapeutic services for the most 'hard to reach' vulnerable children.

We are a dedicated team who work tirelessly to improve the quality of life and future prospects for all those we support.

We deliver tailored services to support each child or young person in overcoming their personal challenges and empower them to embrace new experiences and establish the skills they need to improve their own life-chances.

Our services compliment and strengthen statutory services and our team is proud to work in partnership with multi-agencies and external partners to ensure all solutions remain totally child focused.  Our referral process ensures we reach the most vulnerable children and young people by liaising with:

CAMHS Health Visitors Social Care professionals
School Nurse professionals
Mainstream and Specialised education providers
Social Housing Managers
Family Support Workers Foster carers

We maintain strong community links across the area which includes some of the most deprived wards in the country.  Our team have a long history of experience of successfully engaging with parents and carers and are highly skilled in negotiating access to services on behalf of children and young people.  We accept self-referrals, including siblings of existing service users, and children/young people and their families who make direct contact with us.  Our robust and rigorous assessment packages ensure that all children and young people, whatever the path of referral, are in genuine need of our support.  If we consider other service providers would better meet the needs of a child or young person we will make the appropriate introductions or signposts.

There are many ways you can support us and the work we do, all of which will ensure that our children and young people will be given life changing choices and equal opportunities .

We can only deliver and sustain our work with the help of volunteers and continuing financial and in kind support.

Our intergenerational volunteers ensure we can give the crucial vocational, one-to-one, long term support each child or young person needs to achieve their own goals in increasing their confidence, resilience, positive life choices and social skills.

Our work would not be possible without the ‘in kind’ support of the Kensington Foundation who provide us with rent free accommodation in their Resource Centre in Blackpool. The property is a beautiful Victorian villa with many original internal features providing the ideal environment for our therapeutic services.

We continuously seek funds through grant giving bodies, fundraising by individuals and organisations and corporate sponsorship.

Our financial management is rigorous and robust.  Accounts are independently audited and submitted to appropriate authorities.  Our internal finance forecasting and monitoring management remains true to our frugal beginnings, every penny has to be very wisely spent with direct impact for the children and young people.  We continue to negotiate discounts and seek donations of resources, products and services in kind wherever possible.
